Wed 6th Mar: 2-3 Dept Meeting (literacy); 3-4 TLGs

2. First Story Creative Writing Trip - Pitt-Rivers Museum - Tues 12th March
We're looking to take a group of students from the Year 9 Creative Writing classes to a First Story Creative Writing workshop at the Pitt-Rivers Museum. 

First Story events tend to be very good and they often get some quite big names in running sessions (Philip Pullman, Mark Haddon, etc). If you're interested in going, it's 1-5pm, let me know.

2. Dept Detention
The new dept detention goes live today. Please email englishDT@cheney.oxon.sch.uk and issue DT slips for students who misbehave in lessons.

2. Meeting time on Wednesday
There are three 40-minute meeting slots on Wednesday.
2-2:40: Mid-year review. JKY, LMA, PWA and PTO to look at the most recent data in order to identify areas of over or underachievement - feedback to the department to follow. Rest of department: directed time
2:40-3:20: Teaching and Learning Groups
3:20-4:00: Data entry for AP3
