Student self-assessment packs (Higher and Foundation) are in the Dept Office.
We don't have any meeting time to conduct mock exam moderation, so can I suggest Year 11 teachers buddy up to swap a few scripts if they would like to check their marking:
JKY - RMI
PTO - KWI

CSW - PST
3. Moderation
We requested 23-24 April but this clashes with Rock Challenge. I've requested 24-25 April and am waiting to hear back.

3. Year 11 mock exam
This will happen P3/P4 on Thursday. Students will go to the Assembly Hall/Lower Gym at the end of first break. The exam is 2hrs 15mins long, so they will go into lunch break but will be given an extended lunch as a result of this.
4. Year 8 Media unit
If you're planning on doing the ice-cream unit for Year 8 Media, please help yourself to ice-cream tubs from the dept office. We've got quite a few but we have a lot of classes to spread them around so please only take what you need. If everyone takes a variety of brands/styles that means that nobody will be left with a host of plain ones.
I'll renew my appeal to staff for more in briefing.
5. Replacing Julie
We have a supply teacher, Leila, who will be taking most of Julie Dunnett's classes as of Mon 6th Jan. Katie O'Shea will be taking over a Year 9 class and Amjad Ali/Jane Arris will be covering her Year 11 class.
6. Birthday fever
It's Corinna's birthday on Tuesday and both Pauls had theirs over the Christmas break, so how about a dept lunch (with chocolate, cake, etc) in the office on Tuesday?
Wed 8th Jan, 8:30-10:30am: Sixth Form open morning
