2. Academy consultations
There are a series of consultations/assemblies regarding the proposal to turn Cheney into an Adademy. If you have questions or concerns about this proposal, this is your chance to have your voice heard.
Wed 29th Mar: Parents meeting 7pm
Wed 29th Mar: Whole staff meeting - 11:45-1:15 / 2:00-3:00
Thur 1st Mar: Parents meeting - 11:30-1:00

3. January exam results
Results for the GCSE English/English Language exam from Janurary are due out on Thur 8th Mar. Exact details have yet to be confirmed but I would imagine it will be done during tutor time. If you can get your tutor group covered, it would be great to have a departmental presence down there - hopefully seeing lots of happy, excited faces...!
4. Congratulations to Liz!
On Friday, Liz accepted the post of Assistant Head at Larkmead School. A sad day for us, who lose a very valued and trusted colleague, great news for Larkmead. Some suitably celebratory things will be happening in the coming days to celebrate/mourn this occassion. Watch this space.Have a great week.
