2. Reports + APs
Year 13 long reports: extension until Mon breaktime for any non-completed reports
AP3: due Fri 14th Feb
Year 10 (full): due Fri 14th Feb

3. Job interviews - Tues and Wed
We are interviewing for part-time English Teacher on Tuesday and for a full-time English Teacher on Wednesday (including our very own Rachael Millar). There will be tea, coffee, biscuits in the dept office at breaktime on both days, please come along and meet the candidates.

4. KS3 Review
Many thanks for your professionalism on Wednesday. I'm aware that there was very little notice given and having a powercut half an hour before we were due to start was hardly perfect preparation. Which makes the performance all the more impressive: all lessons were judged 'Good' or 'Outstanding' and staff from John Mason were full of praise for all the staff they saw and for what we're trying to achieve as a department.

I'm aware that there were issues relating to the judgement and approach of the HMI who was part of the team and this is being discussed with SLT.

5. I Am Reading...
The SEN team have given us a stack of 'I Am Reading...' signs to put on classroom doors along with a picture of the book you are currently reading (use Google Images). Please grab one if you'd like to be part of the conversation.
